Stonehollow turns your hunt into work you will be proud of in thirty years — shoulder mounts with life in the eyes, European mounts done clean, and fish that look wet. Award-winning work, honest turnaround dates, and care instructions the moment your animal is down.

Stonehollow Taxidermy is a one-artist studio in Kerrville, seventeen years in, with wall pins from state competitions and a customer wall that runs three counties deep. Good taxidermy is anatomy first and airbrush second: forms are altered to your animal's actual measurements, eyes are set to the expression the animal really wore, and capes are tanned properly — not rushed — which is why the work still looks alive decades later. You get a written turnaround estimate up front and photo updates at each stage, and we answer field-care calls at dark-thirty in November, because that is when the question happens.

Cool it fast, do not cut the throat or drag by the cape, and get it to us or a freezer quickly — folded flesh-side in, in a trash bag. Call from the field and we will walk you through it.
Quality tanning sets the pace — most shoulder mounts run eight to twelve months, and you get the honest estimate in writing plus photo updates along the way.
