Sage Canyon Horsemanship is a small program on purpose: a handful of horses at a time, every one ridden six days a week by the same hands. Colts get a foundation — quiet feet, soft face, honest stops — before anyone asks for speed. Problem horses get diagnosed before they get corrected, because bucking, bolting and trailer fights are usually symptoms, not personalities. Owners are part of the program here; a trained horse under an untrained rider unwinds in a month, so you ride with us before pickup, every time.

Thirty days makes a started horse, not a finished one. Most colts do best with sixty to ninety days here, then wet saddle blankets at home — we will tell you honestly where yours is.
